I am a Christian and I heard that Adam had a first wife that he treated bad and she got banished, is that true?

I heard from a friend that Eve was not Adam's first wife and he abused his first wife and she got banished by God for speaking up against Adam. Is that true? And if it is true am I being a good Christian by thinking that it's wrong?
