Reasons for banishment? (Fictional Story)?

Perhaps she could fall in love with a human. If this relationship were forbidden, they could banish her and eliminate her normal human lover, causing her to seek revenge! It could have even a stronger motivation if she was discovered because she had a child with the human and the witches eliminated the child as well. What stronger motivation could someone have?
