How do you get rid of scars on face?

I have decent skin, few breakouts here and there but I have very noticeable scars on my face & they are especially noticeable in the sunlight even when I'm wearing makeup. Why is that? Is there something I can use to get rid of scars? I started using "AcneFree scar fade and erase cream" a few weeks ago. it takes 8 weeks to start seeing changes, but is there anything else i can use? also, any good face products to get rid of acne?i currently am using L'oreal 360 clean deep facial cleanser" and it works pretty good for me, but i want better. i don't have it bad, but im so tired of not having perfect skin! I wanna be able to go to school without makeup! Help!
